The Late Alearn Adassa Henry
Alearn Adassa Henry, also known as Mother Henry, loved the Lord God, loved His word and as a result loved people. She was always bringing someone home for dinner. If not a family member, it would be an acquaintance or a stranger. Oftentimes she would take home someone to live with us. Extending hospitality to some was irrespective of any criteria, as long as she believed you are God’s creation, she saw it as her obligation to care for you.
Mother Henry was the Founder and Pastor of Mount Zion Victory House of Prayer. This was a journey that could only be accomplished by a transformational leader. She wore several hats, including mother, father to many, a family counsellor, friend, confidant and provider of character references for many. Mother Henry was a prophetess and had the gift of healing. Many persons witnessed miraculous wonders as the power of God worked through her.
